THE PAST TENSE
A.   The Simple Past Tense (S+V2+O)
1.      She went to England last month.
2.      My father bought this car last year.
3.      She went to school this morning.
4.      He came to my birthday last week.
5.      I saw you at the restaurant last night.
6.      My mother went to the market yesterday.
7.      Did doctor went to the hospital yesterday?
8.      I sent you a letter a month ago.
9.      Did you called me three times last night.
10.  They ate my mother fried rice last Sunday.

B.   The Past Continous Tense (S+Was/Were+Verb-ing+O)
1.      I was sleeping when the car crashed my home last night.
2.      She was reading a book while the library was closed.
3.      We were keeping running far away.
4.      They were repairing those computer when i came.
5.      You were looking for me every second.
6.      We were eating noodle yesterday.
7.      Nadya was operating his computer when i was watching a movie.
8.      He was driving very fast when the accident happened.
9.      When i entered the room she was writing a letter.
10.  Her mother was sewing while her father was listening to the music.

C.   The Past Perfect Tense (S+Had+V3+O)
1.      I had told you many times when you asked me about her
2.      My parents had told me that my grand father died before you did
3.      How long had you watched TV when I called you?
4.      The truck had crashed a boy before it finally stopped
5.      My father had not married my mother when they worked in PT. Sidonongol.
6.      If I had come to the meeting I would have been promoted.
7.      When i came home last night, everyone had had their dinner already.
8.      Father said that he had seen the accident himself.
9.      She had study Indonesia for more than one year before she went to England.
10.  The train left the stasion when i arrived at the flatform, so i had to go by taxi.

D.   The Past Perfect Continuous Tense (S+Had been+Verb-ing+O)
1.      I had been studying Math for 3 hours when she invited me to refresh my mind.
2.       She had been skyping with a foreigner since I went shopping two hours ago.
3.       Dhila had been teaching toddlers for 2 hours when I asked her help.
4.       I had been staying here for 4 years when you moved here.
5.       Ron had been loving Harmione since he met her for the first time.
6.       You hadn’t been studying English for 2 weeks, had you?
7.       When her mom left her, she had been sleeping for 7 hours.
8.       Fikri had been sobbing alone since Fitri left him.
9.       How long had you been washing your car?
10.   I had been washing my car for 45 minutes.
